Using British wool

Woolnut Fibres has developed from my love of keeping a show flock of Coloured Ryeland Sheep and now Some Devon and Cornwall Long wools and i have just added a Wenslydale to the flock. Wool is a fabulous natural fibre which is under used in the uk and i was determined to use what my flock produced each year and not to waste this valuable ressource.

The wool I use comes mainly from my own animals, I get 4 Balwen(rare Breed) fleeces from my sisters pet flock once a year which make lovely Vegetarian sheepskin rugs and some fleeces are bought in from other british breeders . To see my flock go to the meet the sheep page on this site
